Come out and support Laurier’s entrepreneurial talent at the bi-annual Student Marketplace

Waterloo, ON, March 1, 2007 – The Public Relations committee will be hosting the second of the bi-annual Student Marketplace on March 1^st. This event, which features a number of booths set-up by entrepreneurs within the Laurier student body, will be taking place in the Concourse from 10 am until 4:30 pm.

Student Marketplace is an excellent opportunity for Laurier students to showcase their talents free of charge, in an area that is frequented by their peers throughout the day. Past vendors have included home-made jewelry, bags and purses, as well as musicians selling their CDs.

"Student Marketplace is a one-of-a-kind opportunity that offers young business entrepreneurs a place to market and endorse their products or services free of charge” states Public Relations Coordinator Shannon Hall. “It is an event created solely on the desire to support and encourage the talent and unique initiatives of our fellow Laurier students.” So come out and support your fellow students by seeing what they have to offer.
