WALK FOR LITERACY

The Walk for Literacy is an annual event at which LSFL raises funds for a local non profit organization. This year LSFL will be raising funds for the Books for Kids book drive hosted by the Record. All the funds raised will go towards purchasing books to be used in the Christmas Hampers prepared by the Salvation Army. All the funds raised will be going directly to the KW community.

The Walk for Literacy is on November 29th, 2008. Registration will begin at 12 noon and the Walk will be from 12:30 to 1:30, with awards to follow. We will also be offering a free kids carnival that morning from 10:30am to noon.
