About FYC

First Year Council (FYC) is the voice and  representative body of first year students at Wilfrid Laurier University. Executives have the awesome job of making important decisions on campus on behalf of all their peers to make their university experience better. FYC may just be one of the most influential and rewarding teams you will take part in while at Laurier. Not only are you in the know on everything WLUSU, you get to experience so many new things while meeting a ton of incredible people that will undoubtedly become some of your best friends. FYC is an executive group in the presidents department, distinguishing it from other groups on campus. Develop the leader in you by taking this stepping-stone to some truly awesome opportunities at Laurier, and dare to make the changes you want to see reality.
