“Step into the Student’s Union with Spring Hiring”

Waterloo- Interested in a Co-ordinator or Executive position in one of WLUSU’s many committees, but unsure of the application process and what will be involved? The Hiring Committee is now providing information sessions to aid students in the application process. The Hiring Committee will be hiring this spring for General, Executive and Co-ordinator volunteer positions to begin next fall. Also, applications for Orientation Week positions are being accepted now.

The Info Session for Co-ordinator applications will be held on February 26 at 10pm in the Hawks Nest. The Executive applications Info Session will be held on March 5^th at 10pm in the Hawks Nest. Students can also receive information on the STARR interview process and information sessions by emailing the committee at hiring@wlusu.com (and state so in the subject line).

Tanya Brander, the Hiring Committee Co-ordinator said, "This year the Hiring Committee is running Coordinator Info Sessions in the hopes that we can help enable more students to successfully apply for coordinator positions. In the past a lot of potential applicants have failed to apply because they didn't have enough information. We're hoping to rectify this and make the process as smooth and easy as possible."
