QUESTION

I have questions about the Bus Pass

ANSWER

The Universal Bus Pass (U-Pass) is a service provided to all full-time Laurier students on both the Waterloo and Brantford campuses. Both undergraduate students and graduate students receive the benefits of this program and can use the local transit limitelessly.

The Bus Pass went through referrendum on both campuses and was passed by the student body as a mandatory fee. As such, there is no option to opt-out of the Bus Pass fee. If you are a part time student (taking less than 2.0 credits) and you have been charged the fee, contact the Business Office to correct the problem.

To use the Bus Pass, you simply need to present your valid OneCard to the bus driver upon boarding. The drivers have been instructed to confiscate any expired or forged cards and, once taken, the cards will be available for pick up at the OneCard office within 24 hours of confiscation. If the card is a forgery, it will be sent directly to the Police for further investigation.
