Since 2000, the Activities Team has been bringing Laurier students events of all shapes and sizes to help relieve the stresses of academic life and to create memories. From live concerts to Comedy Nights there is always something for every Laurier student to enjoy. You will be able to experience A-Team events all year: from night events during Orientation Week until our final event of the year, the Year End Celebration in April. The A-Team consists of a Coordinator and a loyal team of Executive Volunteers who are outgoing, fun and dedicated to planning and executing all the events you will see and participate in during Orientation Week as well as the entire school year!
During Orientation Week you will find the A-Team dressed from head to toe in orange and black, acting crazy, cheering but mostly importantly working hard to provide each of you with an exciting event each night. We are here to ensure you all are having the best experience possible throughout the entire week. You can look forward to winning big prizes at the A-Team’s version of the TV show the Price is Right, dancing the night away at our On Campus Party, watching your favourite movie on a huge outdoor movie screen at our Movie Night or showing us your hidden talents at our Talent Show. Finally, we are going to conclude the week with an amazing Closing Ceremonies celebration Saturday Night! Throughout Orientation Week and the year, the A-Team is here for you and to provide you with the entertainment and events you want!
